At the conclusion of this 8-hour workshop, participants will be conversant in GD&T principles and gain experience applying basic GD&T rules for feature control and interchangeability. They will also have a handy pocket guide for recalling definitions and concepts. Expected objectives include:

• Understanding concepts and symbols of the Y14.5M standard
• Understanding basic GD&T definitions: datum features, Material Condition Modifiers, reference dimensions
• Applying Y14.5M controls and rules
• Calculating functional tolerances for size, position, and fit
